Abstract
[Objective]To study the expression of P-Glycoprotein and Survivin protein in ovarian epithelial cancer tissues and its clinical significance.[Methods]Immunohistochemistry method was used to determine the expression of P-gp and Survivin protein in 64 cases of ovarian epithelial carcinoma?22 cases of epithelial benign ovarian tumors and 10 cases of normal ovarian tissues.[Results]The positive expression rates of P-gp and Survivin protein in ovarian epithelial cancer tissues were 34.85%(21/64)and 51.52%(31/64)respectively.P-gp and Survivin protein were negative in normal ovarian tissues and epithelial benign ovarian tumors.P-gp expression rate of mucinous cystadenocarcinoma was the highest in ovarian epithelial cancer tissues, which was obviously different from other two pathologic types(P﹤0.05);there were significant difference among different histological types(P﹤0.05),and the positive expression rate increased with the degrade of differentiation;otherwise, the positive expression rate of P-gp in Ⅰ-Ⅱ clinical stage was markedly higher than that in Ⅲ-Ⅳ stage(P﹤0.05).For expression of Survivin protein, the positive rates of Serous Cytadenocarcinoma and Mucinous Cystadenocarcinoma were significantly higher than that of Edometrioid carcinoma;the positive rate growed higher gradually with the degrade of differentiation and there were no statistical difference among different histological types(P﹥0.05);moreover,the positive rate of Ⅲ-Ⅳ stage was obviously higher than Ⅰ-Ⅱ stage(P﹤0.05).[Conclusions]Associated determination of P-gp and Survivin protein will be valuable to estimating the prognosis.
