Abstract
Objective To explore the expression of P-Glycoprotein,survivin protein and topoisomeraseⅡ(TopoⅡ)in ovarian epithelial cancer tissues and its clinical significance. Methods Immunohistochemistry was used for determination of the expression of P-gp,survivin protein and topoⅡin 34 ovarian epithelial carcinoma cases,25 epithelial benign ovarian tumors cases and 20 normal ovarian tissue cases. Results The positive expression rates of P-gp、survivin protein and topoⅡ in ovarian epithelial cancer tissues were 29.41%(10/34)、64.71%(22/34)and 50.00%(17/34),respectively.P-gp and survivin protein were negtive in normal ovarian tissues cases and epithelial benign ovarian tumors cases, while topoⅡ was positive in these two tissues. There was a significant difference among the three histological types of P-gp expression rate in ovarian epithelial cancer tissues(P0.01),that of mucinous cystodenocarcinoma was the highest, was 66.67%(4/6).There was no sgnificnt difference in expression of survivin protein and topoⅡ in different histological types(P0.05).There were non significant difference in expression rates of P-gp,survivin protein and topoⅡ in epithelial ovarian cancer tissues at various tumor pathological grade and clinical stage(P0.05).Conclusion Joint determination of P-gp,survivin protein and topoⅡ is valuable for selecting drugs and the estimation of the consequence.
