Abstract
Objective:To study the changes of plasma quantity and activity of tissue factor pathway inhibitor(TFPI)levels and the relationship between TFPI and blood lipid in unstable angina patients. Methods:Plasma quantity of TF and TFPI were measured in 51 UA patients and 22 healthy controls by ELISA assay.Plasma activity of TF and TFPI were measured with chromogenic assay. The UA patients were divided into two groups which included conventional group(n=19)and LMWH group(n=32,enoxaparin plus conventional treatment).Plasma quantity of TFPI was measured 5 days after treatment. The blood lipid was determined by colorimtric assay.Results:(1)Plasma quantity and activity of TF in UA patients were significantly higher than those in control(P0.05).Plasma quantity of TFPI was significantly lower than that in controls(P0.05),and plasma activity of TFPI was significantly higher than that in controls(P0.05).(2)Plasma quantity of TFPI in LMWH group increased(P0.05).The plasma TFPI quantity had no change in conventional group(P0.05).(3)There was a positive relationship between the activity of TFPI and cholesterol and LDL(r=0.92~0.90, P0.05).Conclusion:UA patients have abnormally activated coagulation system.LMWH has a unique character in releasing TFPI.
