Analysis of the Early Postoperative Inflammatory Iieus

Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics,dignosis and treatment of the early postoperative inflammatory small bowel obstructive(EPISBO).Methods 38 cases with EPISBO were analyzed retrospectively.Results EPISBO occurred in 35 cases within 5 to 7 days after operation,3 cases within the 8 to 14 days after operation.38 patients recovered after conservative treatment including gastrointestinal decompression,nutritional support,somatostation,TPN and other medications.The mean cure time was 14 days.Conclusion EPISBO usually occurred within the 1-2 weeks after operation,all have typical symptoms and signs of the intestinal obstruction.Conservative treatment should be the first choice for EPISBO.
