Analysis on manpower of community health service in Anhui

Objective To investigate prevalence of primary community health service basic situation and existing problems and improve chronic disease prevention treatment.Methods Investigation was carried out in 513 community health service manpower by questionnaire which was aimed at primary community health service.Results The age of community health service manpower was 20-69 years old,the average was 39.Most of them were recorded by junior college with the percentage of 43%,and 26% were professional general practitioner.67% staff had passed the national medical licensure examination.Hypertension was one of the common diseases in community with the percentage of 79%,and considered as a disease which had got an effective treatment.Poor living condition was the main problem.Conclusion The community health service manpower mainly consists of junior manpower and general practitioner,and most of them have the national medical licensure.Hypertension is one of the common diseases in community,it is important to improve the medical level in chronic diseases management for medical staff in country by continuing medical education.
