Abstract

Pentaconularia ningqiangensis gen.et sp.nov.of protoconulariids is found from the Kuanchuanpu Member,Dongying Formation near the Sinian-Cambrian boundary in Ningqiang County,Shaanxi Province.The classification of early protoconulariids is revised again referring to the protoconulariids of two-radial-symmetry forms,three-radial-symmetry and four-radial-symmetry forms.The discovery of the new form improve our knowledge of diversity for protoconulariids.
