Farmers' Will of Moving to Central Village for Concentration Residence and its Influential Factors:A Survey of Tianjin Farmers

Based on the data acquired through questionnaire survey on the farmers in Tianjin city,the paper employed logistic regression models to empirically analyze farmers' will of moving to central village for concentration residence and its influential factors.The research results showed that village cadre,unmarried male,total household expenditure,the main sources of family income had remarkable positive effects.Age,family size,native complex,the satisfaction with the production and life conditions of the current residence had remarkable negative effects.Based on above conclusions,some policy recommendations are proposed from the following respects:strengthening policy propaganda and education,improving the construction of model central village,establishing the decision-making mechanism fully respecting farmers' will,eliminating farmers' worries about concentration residence,further perfecting rural social security system.
