Abstract

Objective:Apply chromosomal analysis in peripheral blood of patients with histories of abnormal pregnancy, who visited our hospital from Dec.2011-Dec.2012,in order to explore the relationship of theabnormal karyotype and obstetric abnormality. Methods:Cultivate lymphocyte in peripheral blood in nutritive medium, analyze the karyotype using G band.Result:The 209 cases were abnormal of 958 examples, and the abnormal percentage was 11.77%.The result shows the percentage of pericentricinversionp, translocation, sex chromosome abnormalities, olymorphismand some other abnormalities were 6.22%,13.40%,0.96%,77.99% and 1.43%,respectively.Conclusion:Chromosome abnormality has strong correlations with bad obstetric history,so the chromosome analysis should be treated as the routine examination of prepotency. The chromosome analysis is an effectivemeans toimprove thepopulation qualities and reduce birth defects.
