Abstract

Regulation factor of cell function was identified in bone resorption by RANKL /RANK/OPG system.RANKL/OPG ratio is an important factor to determine bone mass and bone mineral density.Although the mechanism of regulate osteoclast formation was researched for more than ten years,the role in healthy and pathological conditions also existed many problems.The role of RANKL/RANK/OPG system in bone metabolism was summerized in the article.
