Abstract
Nuclear factor-κB(RANK) and its ligand RANKL,belong to the tumor necrosis factor receptor activator(TNF) receptor ligand family member,after combination of both,the increased activity of osteoclasts,which lead to bone resorption.And osteoprotegerin(OPG) can compete RANKL with the RANK,inhibite the overexpression of osteoclasts,or interfere with bone marrow stromal cells and the interaction between osteoclasts and induce apoptosis of osteoclasts,RANK / RANKL / OPG system involved in bone resorption lead to a range of different diseases osteolytic lesions.Metabolic bone diseases about RANKL,OPG,come into the treatment provides a new target,is becoming one of the focuses of clinical researched.
