Abstract

Objective To investigate the evaluation of transrectal ultrasound guided prostate puncture biopsy in prostatosis. Methods Transrectal ultrasound guided prostate puncture biopsy was performed on 104 patients who were suspected to suffer from prostate carcinoma. Results The results showed 59 cases of prostate carcinoma,45 cases of benige prostate hyperplasia.Compared with postoperation, the positive rate of the biopsy was 100%,the detection rate of prostate carcinoma was 56.7%(59/104).Conclusion Transrectal ultrasound guided prostate puncture biopsy might be one of the most important ways of diagnosing prostate carcinoma.
