Abstract
Objectives To explore and evaluate the effect of intervention on risk behaviours of MSM in public places.Methods Joint-marketing intervention mode was used and111 MSM in 4 MSM places chosen randomly in May 2009 as baseline investigation before the survey were conducted and 120 MSM were again cross-sctional surveyed a year later.Results The knowledge level in acquiring immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS)increased from 73.0 % to 91.7% after implementation of the mode.The percentage of condom use at last anal intercourse with MSM increased from 73.0% to 84.7%.The ratio of never-use condom with MSM decreased substantially.The percentage of demanding AIDS-related service and intervention improved obviously.Conclusion The intervention mode is effective and can be popularized.
