Abstract
By using the method of adjustable parameter,wide photonic forbidden band of one-dimensional photonic is modulationed by optical thickness.The formula of wide photonic forbidden band of one-dimensional photonic crystal is deduced.The wide photonic forbidden band is widest when the optical thickness is λ_0/4.The conclusions show that such methed is efficacious.
