Abstract
Ten varieties of pepper(Capsicum annuum L.) were selected as experimental materials. The effects of seedling stage, genotypes, hormone, organic nutrient component and AgNO3 et al on the tissue culture of pepper cotyledon explants were investigated. As a result, the best media for in vitro regeneration of cotyledon explants of pepper were discovered as follows:the bud induction medium is MS+6-BA 5.0 mg/L+IAA 1.0 mg/L+AgNO3 4.0 mg/L;the bud elongation medium:MS+6-BA 3.0 mg/L+IAA 1.0 mg/L+GA3 2.0 mg/L+AgNO3 4.0 mg/L;and the rooting medium:1/2 MS+IAA 0.2 mg/L+NAA 0.1 mg/L.Thereby a highly efficient regeneration system for pepper in vitro is established.
