Abstract

Objective To study the clinical using of reticulocyte and its new parameters detected by Beckman Coulter LH 750 automatic blood analysor. Methods Reticulocyte percentage (RET%) ,reticulocyte absolute value (RET#) ,reticulocyte mean volume(MRV) ,immature reticulocyte formation(IRF) and high scattered light intensity reticulocyte percentage (HLR%) of 248 cases inpateients blood sample were detected by Beckman Coulter LH 750 automatic blood analysor. Results RET # in an anemia of chronic renal dysfunction showed no obvious difference compared with the control, but HLR% was notably higher than the control (P0. 05). Every parameter in a posthemorrhagic anemia patient was remarkably higher than the control. RET%,RET# and HLR% in a hepatic cirrhosis patient showed marked difference(P0. 05). Conclusion The detection of reticulocyte and its parameters is helpful to decide the activity of red blood cell, and it has important practical value in first consultation, treatment and monitoring of anemia type.
