Effect of jintiange capsule combined with traction on lumbar disc herniation

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effects and side effects of jintiange capsule combined with traction on lumbar disc herniation.Methods 225 lumbar disc herniation patients were randomly divided into 2 groups.Observation group(n=114)was given jintiange capsules combined with traction;control group(n=111)was only given traction.The clinical efficacy was observed after 60 d of treatment.Results After treatment,the total effective rates of observation group and control group were 90.35% and 71.17% respectively(P0.01);The degree of pain in the 2 groups were improved significantly(P0.05),and the improvement in observation group was superior to control group(P0.05);no obvious abnormality and side effect occurred in 2 groups during treatment.Conclusion The combination treatment of jintiange capsule and lumbar traction for lumbar disc herniation has desired clinical effect without side effect,it is worthy of clinical application.
