Allocation Efficiency of Science and Technology Resources in Counties,Fujian: Measurement and Comparative Analysis

Making full use of science and technology resources at county level is important to the leap-forward development in Fujian province.In this study,manpower,financial(including material)resources and information in science and technology resources are treated as input variables,and growing production value of new and high technology,including patent as output variables,to study the utilization efficiency of science and technology resource in 36 counties of Fujian during 2005 and 2008.The DEA-C2R model is used in the calculation.Problems like lagging feature,low efficiency and big regional difference regarding science and technology output are found.Some countermeasures are then put forward.
