Abstract

Objective To review the occurrences of adverse drug reaction (ADR) of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing hospital in 2006 and to promote a rational clinical drug use.Methods 66 ADR reports collected in Beijing hospital in 2006 were analyzed statistically in terms of patients′ age distribution,drug varieties,classification of organs and systems involved in ADR and the specific clinical manifestations.Results Of the total 66 ADR cases,most were aged patients (over 50 ages),which covered for 51.5% (34 cases);Most were induced by Xiao-jin-wan;The most common clinical manifestations were the damage of skin and adnexa,which accounted 46 cases.Conclusion For medical workers,ADR monitoring and summary should be carried out in full length and avoid or reduce ADR incidences.
