Abstract

Objective To investigate the characteristics of adverse drug reaction(ADR) cases in our hospital and to promote rational clinical use of drugs. Methods A total of 172 ADR reports were retrospectively collected from our hospital in 2010 and analyzed statistically. Results Most of the ADR cases(97.09%) were related to the intravenous route.48.04% of the cases with ADR were caused by antibiotics.ADR involving organs was mostly skin and appendages disorders(52.33%).Conclusion Clinical monitoring of ADR should be strengthened by regulating the application of antimicrobial drugs and improving the use of traditional Chinese medicine injection in order to reduce the incidence of ADR.
