Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of silymarin in treatment of alcoholic fatty liver. Method: 126 cases of alcoholic fatty liver recruited from clinic and hospital were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, respectively, in the basis of conventional therapy, the treatment group was treated with silymarin capsules, and the control group was treated with Yiganle, a course of three four weeks. The clinical symptoms, signs and laboratory markers were recorded and compared before and after treatment.Result: The treatment group was superior than the control group in reducing ALT, AST, GGT(P0.05).The clinical symptoms and signs were improved greatly in two groups, but there was no significant difference(PO.05) between two groups. Conclusion:The effect of silymarin capsule is satisfied in treatment of alcoholic fatty liver disease.
