By retrieving the papers of Zhejiang Sci-tech University during the year of 2004—2008 collected by SCI-E,EI,and ISTP,the paper analyses the papers quantity,distribution in the colleges,subjects,and authors as well as the distribution of authors professional titles,educational background and ages by bibliometric method.It reflects the scientific research level,subject development and talent structure of the university in recent years from the quantitative data analysis,which can provide data references for subject construction and evaluation of scientific research performance.And it also carries out the helpful exploration for library of university to expand information service.
