Abstract
The Tuka hydropower project is a medium-sized hydropower development with a roller compacted concrete gravity dam in Yunnan province,China.Taking into consideration the flood, geological and tailrace conditions,as well as the layout of the project, the way of flood discharging and energy dissipation of the project complex was optimized at the construction details design stage by reference to the flood discharging and energy dissipation design experience of other medium-sized hydropower projects of its kind at home. The hydraulic model test indicates that the adoption of a stepped spillway face with flat baffle piers and a bucket basin has proved reasonable.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
