In the middle Tang Dynasty, a part of scholar advocate and oppose Pianwen . But to the later Tang Dynasty and Five Generation, ancient Chinese tend to decline . Pianwen appear to possess obviously advantage, till North Song sport of ancient Chinese just get victory . Most of Pianwen in the Tang Dynasty style smooth , even popularization, most of novel with scattered body writing, Pian sentence take decimal only. But sentence type is neat , language plain common. In style , they aren' t same with ancient . In the modern , some researcher of literature and history think novel style in the Tang Dynasty have close relation with sport of ancient Chinese prose , this is a misunderstanding.
