Abstract

Objective:To observe and compare the influence of abdominal acupuncture combined with body acupuncture in treating mild and midrange depression on clinical therapeutic effect and HAMD factor score. Methods:62 patients with mild and midrange depression were randomly divided into treatment group(abdominal acupuncture combined with body acupuncture group)and control group(body acupuncture group),evaluated and comapred two group's clinical therapeutic effect and HAMD factor score of each group before and after treatment. Results:Two cases in the control group lost during the teatment. After the treatment, the total effective rate of the traetment group was 96.77%,the control group was 82.76%.After the treatment, the four factor scores of the HAMD-17 of each group were obviously lower than those before treatment(P0.01),the anxiety/somatization,hysteresis and dyssomna scores of the treatment group were significant lower than the control group's,there were significant difference(P0.05),the body weight score of two group was not significant difference(P0.05). Conclusion:Both abdominal acupuncture combined with body acupuncture and body acupuncture could effectively treat depression, the former could significantly decrease the anxiety/somatization,hysteresis and dyssomna scores, and could significantly improve the depressive symptoms.
