Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical effects of combination therapy in acute gouty arthritis.Method:60cases of acute gouty arthritis patients were divided into two groups by random number table(30cases each).we gave the control group general treatment and sodium bicarbonate tablets with etoricoxib;meanwhile, besides the therapy of the control group we gave the observation group golden cream to use topically, and Jia Wei Si Miao decoction to take orally. Two courses(14days)later we observed the clinical efficacy, the pain relief time and the adverse reactions of the drug;and measured serum uric acid(UA)and C-reactive protein(CRP)levels by conventional biochemical methods before and after treatment;last we statistics the recurrence rate of those whose treatment was effective within six months. Results:After two courses the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33% compared with 70.00%of the control group(P0.05);pain relief time was shorter than the control group(P0.01),the levels of UA and CRP after treatment in the two groups were significantly lower than the levels before the treatment(P0.01);the levels in the observation group were significantly decreased than the control group(P0.05);and the recurrence rate of observation group was lower than that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion:The integrative treatment for acute gouty arthritis can improve the clinical effects, and also can reduce the recurrence rate.
