Abstract
The nucleoprotein gene of CTN strain of rabies virus from China was cloned.Analysis result of this gene indicated that there were 1353 nucleotide acids in the ORF of nucleoprotein gene. It was found that nucleoprotein gene sequence and its deduced amino acid sequence had very high reservation by comparing CTN with vaccine strains of China and several foreign fixed strains. The deduced amino acid sequence of this gene had a phosphorylation site of serine at position 389. In addition, antigen sites in the protein were analyzed and discussed in details.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
