Abstract
Firstly,the traditional image interpolation algorithm—based on the edge and not based on the edge,are analyzed and researched.And the optimized bilinear interpolation algorithm is used in image scaling engine.During the hardware realization,two zoom kernel structures are adopted.Each submodule is simulated by Modelsim and verified by using FPGA development board of Altera.The experiment shows that this design has very good display effect.
