Radial head fracture with treatment of internal fixation

Objective To explore the different radial head fracture fixation treatment.Methods Retrospective analysis 21 cases of radial head fractures,7 cases with Kirschner wire,4 cases with thin micro-plate,5 cases with plate and screw fixation,4 cases with screw fixation,1 cases with AO cannulated screws.Results 21 patients were followed up 6-30 months,an average of 20 months.According to evaluation criteria:efficacy in this group were excellent in 8 cases(38.1%),good in 9 cases(42.9%),all right 3 cases(14.3%),poor in 1 cases(4.8%),total fine rate was 80.9%.Conclusion The results comminuted fracture of the radial head with open reduction and internal fixation should be performed to obtain a satisfactory joint fiexibility,muscle strength and to provide more comprehensive functional recovery.
