CLINICAL STUDY OF INTRACTABLE HEADACHE TREATED WITH PROMOTING BLOOD CIRCULATION TO REMOVE BLOOD STASIS METHOD

Objective: Observing the curative effect of promoting blood circulation to remove stasis on intractable headache and discussing the mechanism. Method:45 cases were treated with promoting blood circulation to remove stasis method, the curative effect and the changes of plasma β-endorphin content and TCD examination were observed. Results: 16 Cases were recovery,the heal rate was 35.6% ;the total effective rate was 95.6% .the plasma β-endorphin level was obviously higher than before treated, the examination results of TCD were improved significantly. Conclusion: Method of promoting blood circulation to remove stasis could effectively treat intractable headache, the mechanism is related to improving cerebral blood flow and increasing plasma β-endorphin.
