Abstract
The treatment effects of fenton oxidation,activated carbon adsorption and fenton oxidation coupled with activated carbon in treatment of coking wastewater after biochemical process were studied.The best conditions of the treatment process were also analyzed.The results indicated that the selected conditions of reactions to treat of coking wastewater were at the concentration of H2O2=5 mL/L,FeSO4·7H2O=200 mg/L,activated carbon=2 g/L,pH=11,the reaction time=20 min.The COD removal rate could reach 82.6% under this optimum conditions,and all parameters of the effluent could meet the requirements of the national discharge standard I(GB8978—1996).
