Abstract

The treatment of coking wastewater by Fenton-adsorption process effects on COD,[NH+4-N]and chroma removal of coking wastewater by Fenton-adsorption process are studied,some factors,such as H2O2 dosage,Fe2+ dosage,pH,temperature,time and temperature in the stage of Fenton oxidation,activated carbon dosage and pH in the following adsorption stage are discussed.Then the optimal operation conditions are determined.The results show that the optimal conditions,the removal rate of COD,[NH+4-N] and chroma of coking wastewater is up to 97.74%,83.76% and 97.33% respectively.Fenton-adsorption process is an effective method for the treatment of coking wastewater,which provides good experimental basis for the practical application of this process in the treatment of coking wastewater.
