Abstract
A low toxic environment-friendly UF resin for plywood was prepared.Taking formaldehyde emission and wet bonding strength of the resin-bonded plywood as evaluation index, the authors of this paper determined through orthogonal test the main parameters(final molar ratio of F to U,medium pH in condensation stage and melamine percentage by mass in addition stage.) for the UF synthesis. Also, the relationship between the parameters and the evaluation index was discussed, and the experiment design was optimized. The properties of the resin-bonded poplar 7 ply plywood could meet the requirements of classⅡspecified in GB/T 9846—2004,and the formaldehyde emission of the plywood reached E_0 degree.
