Observation on effect of Xielinyin decoction in treatment of chronic abacterial prostatitis

Objective To study the therapeutic result of Xielinyin decoction in treatment of chronic abacterial prostatitis(CAP).Methods 110 cases of CAP were divided into two groups,60 cases of patients were treated with Xielinyin as the treatment group and 50 cases of patients were treated with Qianliekang collocystis as the control group.NIH-chronic prostatitis symptom index(NIH-CPSI)score,counting leukocytes and small particle of lecithin(SPL)counts in expressed prostatic secretions(EPS)were used as target to evaluate the effectiveness.The effect was evaluated after one-month follow-up.Results 106 cases accomplished treatment.The NIH-CPSI scores,leukocytes and SPL counts in EPS before and after treatment showed significant differences of both two groups(P0.05 or P0.01).The total effective rate was 83.9% in the treatment group and 76.0% in the control group.Conclusion The therapeutic effect of Xielin Yin decoction in CAP is satisfactory.
