Abstract

Objective To observe the clinic effects and safety of using sufentanil and flurbiprofen axetil combined with sufentanil for postoperative patient-controlled intravenous analgesia(PCIA)in patients of esophageal cancer operation. Methods Sixty patients esophageal cancer thoracic surgery divide randomly into three groups of 20 cases for control group(sufentanil 2 μg/kg),group B(sufentanil 1 μg/kg)and group drug combination(flurbiprofen 2 mg/kg + sufentanil 1 μg/kg).Patients' VAS score,Prince-Henry score, cumulative analgesic consumption(CAC),sedation scores,side-effects including nausea, emesis, dizziness and respiratory depression at the time points of 6,12,24,48 h after operation were record.Plasma cortison measured at the time points of preoperative, the end of operation and 6,12,24,48 h of postoperative analgesia. Results Control group was no significant difference in the VAS score,Prince-Henry score,CAC and plasma cortison than group drug combination(P0.05),numerical values of control group and group drug combination are lower than group B(P0.05).The incidence of nausea and vomiting 48h after operation in group B and group drug combination are signifcantly less than control group(P0.05).Conclusion The combination of Flurbiprofen axetil and sufentanyl used for PCIA after thoracic surgery can decrease the dose of sufentanyl, and obtain similar analgesia with large dose sufentany alone, but incidence of nausea and vomiting after operation is lower than the sufentany alone.
