Potential in Rural Residential Land Consolidation with the Policy of Urban Construction Land Increase Linking up with Rural Land Reduction

To mitigate the contradiction between the expansion of land for urbanization and the protection of arable land,it is an effective measure for the government to implement the policy of urban construction land increase linking up with rural construction land reduction.By using the field survey method,this paper firstly defines the implication and meaning of the policy,and then,based on the analysis of the present situation of rural construction land in Quanzhou County,predicts the potential of the policy in rural residential land consolidation and the control of urban and rural construction land use,with the result that the total potential of the policy in Quanzhou County is relatively great.
