Abstract

The purpose is to propose a design method of Pin-tooth cycloidal gear(shown in Fig.1) based upon From Equation and some other feature create commands(such as extrude,cut,symmetry,pattern etc.) of Pro/engineer 3D CAD software.The proper tooth profile design highly relies on the establishment of the cycloidal equation of the gear.
