Investigation on Wild Plant Resources in Jinta County of Gansu Province

The wild plants in Jinta County were studied through field survey.The results showed that there were 49 families,161 genera,310 species(including 12 varieties,1 sub-species and 1 form) wild higher plants in Jinta County of Gansu Province.These wild plants can be divided into 5 groups and 23 sub-groups according to the nature and use of them.The groups include edible plants resources,medicinal plants resources,industrial plant resources,protecting and transforming the environment of plant resources and plant germplasm resources.The main wild plant resources include 134 species of medicinal plants,62 species of specific stress resistance plants,57 species of fodder plants,51 species of wild ornamental plants,40 species of nectar source plants,32 species of sand-fixing plants and 24 species of wild vegetables.
