Abstract

Objectives To explore the influence analysis of rhubarb combined with simvastatin to whole body micro-inflammation of maintenance hemodialysis patients through comparing control group and simple application of simvastatin group comparison. Methods Divided 50 maintenance hemodialysis patients into blank control group, simvastatin group and rhubarb combined with simvastatin group, compared 3 groups system inflammation index before and after treatment. Results Albumin and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol of two experimental groups' patients were significantly increased compared with those before treatment, the other indexes were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment; albumin and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol were significantly increased compared with the control group, while the other indexes were decreased significantly compared with the control group. Rhubarb combined with simvastatin group's albumin and HDL cholesterol was significantly increased than those of simvastatin group after treatment. While other indexes were obviously decreased compared with simvastatin group except for triglycerides. Conclusion Both rhubarb and simvastatin have good anti-inflammatory effect, but the combination of the two can treat systemic micro-inflammation of maintenance hemodialysis patients effectively.
