Abstract

Solid phase grafting copolymerization with preirrated polypropylene non-woven fabric as substrate and 4-VP as the monomer was applied to prepare the graft copolymer. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction time, monomer concentration, inhibitor and DVB concentration on the degree of grafting were discussed in detail. The results shows that optimum conditions are:temperature is 50℃,time is 3 h,monomer concentration is 15%,DVB concentration is 5%,inhibitor is 0.08%.The grafting rate is 7.5% under the optimum conditions.
