Abstract

Based on dates of flooding and drought disasters from Ming Dynasty,flooding and drought disasters often happen in history in Hebei Province,drought disaster gets graver than flooding disaster,drought disaster is one of the main natural disastersin Hebei Province.Natural factors are the main causes of drought and flooding disasters,human factors strengthen the degree of disasters.The findings may provide a scientific basis for preventing and fighting disasters.
