Abstract

Zi Gong developed Confucious' thought in accordance with the time in respect of politics,economics,military etc.His practice and studies of “benevolence”and “politeness”are of great importance in terms of making modern people go out of cultural dilemma and re establish moral norm.Therefore this article gives a modern interpretation of the figure of Zi Gong in Sima Qian's writing.
