World towards China: From Sinology to China Studies—A Speech of "Forum of World China Studies of 2004 in Shanghai"

In 2004, the forum of world China Studies was convenced in Shanghai. Refering to Chinese hisory cultural and reality, the scholars from different countries built a platform once more for cultural communication and conversation. The paper selected some different opinions and new attitudes about Sinology and China Studies. China Studies originated and is different from Sinology. China Studies touchs upon the study of social politics and economy. However, the problem will focus on the inheritance of Sinology, and treatment to the integration of dates and textual research.
