Research on the Wetland Resources and Ecosystems in Dongting Lake Area

Dongting Lake Area is the largest lacustrine wetland ecosystem in China,where natural resources are very plentiful and the available resources are in richness.The paper summarized the situation of Dongting Lake wetland resources,the ecosystem classification and the evaluation,and then analyzed ecological degeneration.It revealed that mud filled up seriously,water pollution pricked up,biology diversity depressed,and so on.Finally the proposals are presented about protection and sustainable development of the lake wetland ecosystem are put forward.
