Abstract
The modification of PA6/ABS blend by home-made ABS-g-MAH was studied. The results indicated that when PA6 was blended with ABS, the mechanical properties of the blend were very poor, when compatibilizer ABS-g-MAH (20wt%) was added to PA6/ABS blend, the mechanical properties of the alloy were as goodas those of pure PA6, the morphology structure of the alloy well distributed, and compared with pure PA6, the MFR of PA6/ABS/ABS-g-MAH alloy was decreased by 3 fold, and the saliva phenomenon of pure PA6 was overcome, the heat deflection temperature under load of PA6/ABS/ABS-g-MAH alloy increased by 38℃.
