INVESTIGATION OF AIDS HEALTH EDUCATION EFFECTS ON RAILWAY WORKERS

Abstract

[Objective] To investigate the knowledge and behaviors on AIDS of the railway workers,and evaluate the ef-fects of health education. [Methods] AIDS health education and activity was conducted for the staffs,and questionnaire survey was conducted among railway workers before and after health education. The results were evaluated. [Results] The average score of the AIDS knowledge was increased from 4.40 to 5.14 before and after intervention,and the positive rate of answering the attitude and behavior was significantly improved by 9.8%-20.1%. [Conclusion] This study demonstrated that carrying out Health education had obvious effect on improving railway worker's AIDS knowledge.
