Analysis on Cognitive Level of Two Groups about AIDS Before and After Intervention of AIDS Health Education

Abstract

Objective To study the intervention methods and effects of AIDS Health Education for high risk population in public places and hotel attendants so as to provide a scientific basis for health education and other interventions development. Methods Highrisk population in public places and hotel attendants were selected to receive serial health education of AIDS. Questionnaires about AIDS knowledge were used before and after intervention to evaluate the correlated effects in the 2 groups. Results It was found that before and after health education,those who were intervened had obvious improvement in knowledge of AIDS and its routes of transmission. Between pre-and post-intervention in the intergroup test,there was a significant difference in attitude to AIDS(P0.05). Conclusion Health education about AIDS for the two groups of people in Yichang city has achieved good results.
