Abstract

【Objective】The extraction process of total flavonoids from celery leaves was optimized to provide technical support for development and utilization of medicinal vegetables. 【Method】Using ethanol concentration, extraction temperature, extraction time, ultrasonic power and ultrasonic time as experimental factors, the extraction process of total flavonoids from celery leaves was optimized based on single factor test by orthogonal test. 【Result】The order of factors affecting total flavonoids yield from primary to secondary was as follows: ethanol concentrationultrasonic powerextraction timeultrasonic timeextraction temperature. In addition, the optimum extraction process was 70% ethanol volume fraction, extraction temperature of 80 ℃, extraction time of 2.0 h, ultrasonic power of 250 W, ultrasonic time of 15 min. Under the above conditions, the total flavonoids content of celery leaves reached up to 3.013 mg/g. 【Conclusion】The optimized ultrasonic extraction technology is simple, stable and reliable, which can be used to extract total flavonoids from celery leaves effectively.
