Abstract

The pretreatment is one of the critical steps in the transformation of lignocellulosic materials to ethanol,which would directly influence hydrolysis efficiency of cellulose and ethanol production cost.In this article,all kinds of pretreatment techniques of cellulose materials were briefly summarized,the advantages and disadvantages of different pretreatment method were discussed and analyzed in detail,and the development of biomass pretreatment techniques was predicted.
