The clinical curative effect and nursing practice of compound clobetasol propionate ointment in combination with UVB irradiation on psoriasis vulgaris

Objective To explore the clinical curative effect of compound clobetasol propionate ointment associated with UVB irradiation on psoriasis vulgaris, as well as the nursing measures of the patients with psoriasis vulgaris. Methods In the treatment group, the affected part was spread with compound clobetasol propionate ointment twice a day, and given a full-body UVB irradiation 2~3 times per week with some proper nursing. In the control group, the affected part was spread with compound clobetasol propionate ointment twice a day. The curative effect was evaluated by the standard of PASI score. Results The rates of efficiency in the two groups were 88.46% and 65.38%, respectively. The result of the statistics was χ~2=7.8000, P0.01. The rates of recrudescence in the two groups were 19.05% and 53.85%, respectively. The result of the statistics was χ~2=4.4472, P0.05. Conclusions Compound clobetasol propionate ointment associated with UVB irradiation and proper nursing is effective in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris.
