Abstract

Objective To study the effect of nimodipine on hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods 74 patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage were randomly divided into the nimodipine group(39 cases) and control group(35 cases). Both were given the conventional treatment and the nimodipine group were given additional nimodipine. The therapeutic effectiveness of the two groups were compared. Results nimodipine group had significantly higher overall therapeutic effectiveness. The hematoma volume was significantly lesser than the control group and the function rating was also better than the control group. The differences had statistical significance(P0.05).Conclusion The early application of nimodipine to the patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage can effectively promote the hematoma absorption and the neurological function recovery and it can also improve the clinical effectiveness, worthy of clinical promotion.
